>While we're on the subject:

>There's another funky live version of World is a Ghetto, it starts
out with
> latin-y bassline and people clapping, and a voice singing "talkin
bout the
>ghetto...", later on in the song there are some fat solos. Any
clues?

Are you sure you're not talking about Donny Hathaway's monster jam
"The Ghetto" which somewhat matches the description above? It's on the Atco
album "Everything is Everything" and probably can be found on one or both of
his live albums as well.

Staying on the subject of trainspotting, try to spot these:

        * Swedish deep-house label SPÅNKA - the royal family of scandinavian
house ;)
        * Anything on Balihu label. I heard 009 is out now.
        * The Jones Girls' "Nights Over Egypt" (as covered by Incognito &
MAW)
        * Dave Lee's Disco Spectrum on BBE (shouldn't be too hard!)
        * Pepe Deluxé album if you don't take music too seriously and r into
"big beat"
        * BeBe Winans & MAW "Thank You" finally repressed! (also KenLou
"Moonshine")
        * "Beneath the Surface" west coast underground hip hop compilation
