chari chari did a great job on File records (japan). i don't understand why these people haven't got more exposure... and pole, yeah, they're pole! you can don't like it, but i feel that people like them (or the skam label, the guys from matmos in usa, ...) are doing real electronica, far away from techno used and used cliché..

uhhh... i think the last reminiscence quartet productions is from... 95? Chris(aka the mighty bop, Bob sinclar, etc...) and Alain (aka dj yellow) just done the follow to their first productions, with a brilliant compialtion called "Bossa très...jazz", with artists such as Tom&Joyce, dj gregory, Utsumi, Kyoto jazz massive, Modaji, Neon Phusion, even the masters at work..., there was a same-named project from yellow years ago, but now, they're bigger so they've got bigger audiences. check it out!

;) i'm a lot into d'n'b, but i don't feel all the works of Photek as the ones of this so called genius composer-producer. it's ok, he's one of the best, but i really feel like a lot of people says that he's the best... he's got a really good vision of what he wanna do, and he 's doing it fine, but hey... coltrane or miles, ellington, were real innovators, but it took them years, even decades for lettin know people. Photek is real good at doing what he's doing. how many years will he do that trick? for me, i like some of his work, but i'll wait 2010 before tellin he's a master...
(photek lovers will hate me...)
