Yes, I like Lonnie Liston Smith. Why do you ask? :)

Getting paid contradicts the purpose of Tribe's last album...it also
contradicts everything Tip's done for the past 10 years.

Samples? Tip has enough cred and support so production shouldn't be a
problem. Actually, production is the problem, but it's not because of a lack
of samples.

>>>> appreciate it. the feel is more experimental..but on the edge of

Definitely...and why, I have no idea. I understand changing a style, but
this is unlike anything he's done before. Tip would be the last MC I'd think
would "sell out," but who knows? This is his time to stand on his own, he
sees what's selling, and maybe he's jumping into the mix. Unfortunately, he
stands to lose a lot of fans in the process.

I don't think he ever lost his "street creed," and you're right, he didn't
really need it. Tip's on mad records, from "Body Rock" to classic Mobb Deep.
This new shit has me lost. I'm hearing Tip, but I'm not feeling the album.
As a supporter of Tribe and the culture in general, I don't know what to
think.
