heya Sariane,

lucky, lucky you to have seen Nils Petter Molvaer live - pretty rare over
here in North America from what I understand (certainly no Toronto gigs to
date ::sigh::).

he released an absolutely stunning album called "Khmer," which came out in
'97 on ECM Records. BMG (at least in Canada) picked it up as an import and
re-issued it last year with the first 1,000 or so pressings containing a
bonus CD with a number of remixes by folks such as Rockers Hi-Fi,
Herbaliser members, Nils Petter himself and others. amazing music - his
trumpet playing blows my mind... experimental yet laced with melody...very
original and fresh.

if anyone else out there knows more @ Molvaer, including other releases,
i'd appreciate the info as well. have a good day all.
