Hi all,
I have a few questions about some artistes - I hope someone can help
with answers:
One song that crops up again and again on acid jazz compilations is the
excellent 'Boundaries' by Leena Conquest (and Hip-Hop Finger). Can
anyone tell me anything more about this singer - has she released any
albums, for example?
Also, does anyone know what happened to two of the early members of the
Brand New Heavies - Jim Wellman and Lascelles Gordon? Most artistes
tend to move on to other projects after finishing with one, but these
two seem to have dropped out of sight.
And lastly, I heard Corduroy were slated to hold a gig last month
(presumably to showcase their new album). Unfortunately, I can't access
their website to find out how it went (don't ask why), so does anyone
have a review? Or did it not hold?
