I don't know, Autechre must be a hit/miss thing. I
saw Autechre play live, and it did certainly seem to
be live, in that it consisted of none of their recorded
work, just constantly evolving variations on a theme.
But it was the most boring thing I've ever seen. BOOM
BOOM BOOM BOOM for about an hour and a half...no beauty
and certainly no innovation. Perhaps this is different
now, this was at SONAR in 96 I think.
