Nah, I disagree. Tapes are cheap, permit multiple writes, everybody has a
tape player, they don't skip (try jogging with a cd player). And mixtapes
are where it's at. Mix CD's are kinda fake (It just so happens that I'm
listening to the Liam Howlett, Dirt Chamber Sessions V1 right now. It has 8
tracks broken where the beats cut out. Hmmm. It's dope but for some
reason, it'd be doper when I dub a tape, and give it to a friend.) Forget
about mixMP3s! But man, I will never buy a commercial pre-recorded tape in
a store. I'm lucky to get 2 years out of them. Few things are more
disheartening then listening to a good tape being eaten. Well, except maybe
watching your vinyl collection go up in flames.
