There are many internationally originating genres that hit big in the US:
- Reggae
- Punk
- Bossa Nova

whether or not Drum & Bass is the next thing, who the fuck knows...

It's inevitable that styles fuse & new things emerge. It may not exactly be
jungle or R&B but dont worry, someone'll slap a tag on to it!

lovely weather in NYC today, btw

I dont know though, this might be a bit different. Maybe if you can tell
me some international music genres that hit big in the US then I may
believe. It seems like the fact that jungle didnt start in america is part
of the reason why it isnt so big. But i shouldnt be so pessimistic u never
really know.
