Hi,

There's another application by Adaptec called "Jam 2.5,"
which not only lets you control the length of pause
between songs, but also gives you several types of
crossfade options between songs, allowing you to create
mix CDs.

Since crossfading is all done inside Jam application,
it leaves your audio files untouched.

Beware, though, because my friend recently bought a CDR
but is not compatible with the current version of Jam....

I've been compiling songs to burn on a CD myself,
and it really helps if you have a sound editing
application, such as SoundEdit Pro (I'm on a Mac) too,
because I sometimes find that maybe one or two seconds of
the beginning or ending of songs are cut off when
I extract audio files from exsisting audio CDs.

Good luck!!
