ARTISTS BIO’S

MATEO & MATOS: this New York bred duo, who bizzarly first met in 1985 over
CB radio, have produced tracks for some of today’s most respected house
labels, including Spirtual Life Music, King Street, Henry Street, and
Glasgow Underground. Labeled the “disco kings” of New York, due to their
previous funky disco cut-ups, are truly driven by deeper soul-driven house.
These legends hit Los Angeles for the first time spinning tunes from their
forth coming LP ‘Shades of Mateo & Matos’ released on Glasgow underground.

ANDREA PARKER(DJ Kicks, Mo Wax/Beggars Banquet) has been shaking up the
electronic music “boys club” with her electronic-hip-hop-experimental sounds
for over four years. From Afrika Bambaata and Dr. Octagon, to Carl Craig,
David Sylvian, and Depeche Mode, the girl can flat-out play. Her recent
debut Kiss my Arp(Mo Wax/Beggars Banquet) and highly lauded DJ Kicks(Studio
K7!) will receive full coverage on Saturday October 30th.

Djs: Juan Nunez(Wax, Revival) & Lil Chris(Wax, Revival) spin there
tribal/afro/louis vega-esque house set while DJ Dusk(Ritual) ties the
evening together with his vast knowledge and collection reflecting dance
music’s history and future.
