Hey list,
Just picked up some more neo-soul this weekend. I
copped the new Rahsaan Patterson, Chico Debarge,
Jazzyfatnastees, and although its old now, Sleepy's
Theme. The Rahsaan Patterson is probably the best of
the new releases. Chico's album is not as tight the
first album (a little bit more uptempo than the first
album). Jazzyfatnastees are solid with production
coming from the Roots. Sleepy's Theme was one of the
better releases from late last year.
Just in case you are still sleeping on them you must
check for Donnel Jones, and jazzy hip hop groups The
Outfit and Da Grassroots.
