Last night I caught DJ SUV and MC Dynamite in Hollywood at a very poorly
promoted but nevertheless pretty fun show. Lots of Full Cycle/Breakbeat Era
stuff was spun, even a "drum n bossa" track and a weird, goofy dancehall tune
that goes "Where your boyfriend at?" The small crowd wasn't enough for Dynamite
to go off, but he seemed to have fun and had everyone preted it was a "private
party." Anyway, I talked to Dominic (aka Dynamite) and asked him when Reprazent
will, well, represent. He told me the new album will be out in September and
describes it as "something new...it'll make you wanna cut your hair in a
different way..." He also says Reprazent will tour again soon afterward. YUSH!
