    hi everyone,

Big smiles to all who came out for the final Soular System event on Nov.
25th, with myself, Sassa'le and Directions. B-Side was packed and sooo
much fun! Directions seriously turned it out that night, as did many a
sweaty dancer. Nice one, thank-you to those who made the night a special
    one.

On the writing tip, you can read current and recent pieces I've done for
both Exclaim! mag and Eye weekly, including:

ï Eye: my Extended Play column this week features Montreal's Jaffa while
last week's spotlighted Brooklyn's Ron Trent. www.eye.net to check
either or any previous Extended Play or Beats Per Week columns.

ï Exclaim: I spoke with Claas Brieler of Jazzanova for a piece in the
current issue, and Richard Dorfmeister of Tosca and K&D for last month.
Both of those plus lots of other good stuff via www.exclaim.ca

And now, on to the club stuff:

Izzy of milk. and I are co-presenting this one, featuring dZihan &
Kamien, a wiiiicked production/DJ duo from Vienna who are being compared
to the likes of Kruder & Dorfmeister, Thievery Corporation and
Jazzanova. dZihan & Kamien's Freaks & Icons, a spacey, deep excursion,
is one of my fave albums of the year, so I am HYPED about this. Not to
mention how much fun it's gonna be to have all of us from the home team
spinning together! This gig is one of the first events at UNA MAS, a
    brand-new, beautiful two-floor dancebar & lounge. There's a lot of talk
'round town about this show, and I look forward to seeing many of you
out tomorrow night. Check this week's Eye and NOW weeklies for stories
    and more details.

The first five people who hit me back with an enote will receive a
ticket each to this show. Write me quick! I'll e-mail each of the five
winners to confirm. Guest list is very limited for this special event.

I'll also be DJ'ing at a number of events coming up next week:

Many, many DJ's, performers, and customers have enjoyed the Gypsy's
warmth over the past five years. Let me know if you're one of them and
would like an invitation to this celebration. Guaranteed to be a busy,
    fun evening.

    12 Brant Street ï $10 b4 11pm $13 after ï garage416.com
I'm very happy and honoured to have been invited to play at this hot Hot
Stepper monthly. Garage 416 has become an important monthly institution
in this city, bringing forth the soulful sounds of house music on a
consistent basis. This month, it's a special all-Canadian DJ lineup
featuring Montreal's JoJo Flores, residents Blueprint, infamous brothers
Dino & Terry, longterm house head Kevin Williams, Jason Palma in an
'Anthem Sessions' extended set, and myself dropping classics and
    contemporary cousins. See you there!

BUT WAIT, there's more! I'll save it 'til next time 'cause this is
getting long, but look out for word of the SAVOUR women's PRE New Year's
event JD and I are throwing on Dec. 30 at B-Side, plus the very special
New Year's jam the 52 Inc. women are having at the Warehouse with
