    My fav Brazilian-oriented recordings:

    Suba - Sao Paulo Confessions
    Buscemi - Mocha Supremo
Da Lata - Sounds from the Tin
Señor Coconut y su Conjunto - El Baile Alemán
    Glücklick III

Unfortunately, none of these are strictly Brazilian. Suba (aka Mitar Subótic), was born in Yugoslavia and later moved to São Paulo. Buscemi is Belgian and Da Lata is English, though I believe the vocalist is from Brazil. Señor Coconut is from Chile, and this CD is covers of Kraftwerk (somewhere between ridiculous and sublime). And Glücklick III is a compilation of European and American Brazilian influenced sounds from the German label, Compost.

    A lot of help, aren't I?

    never, right?

If you're into Brazilian music with a jazzy funky feel, could you give me a list of your top five albums availble on CD?

My sister have been living in Brazil since June and I can't believe I'v e not taken advantage of this...

    Cheers,
