Unfortunately this hurts me tell you all, if you don't already know.
Manu Dibango's "Soul Makossa" has been raped by commercial pop star
Jennifer "Big Booty" Lopez and overpaid/ overhyped Big Pun and Fat Joe
on their horrible MTV playin' "Feel so Good",it shoul've been called
"Feel So Bad" When I heard it. Yuc!!!! . Damn right, I'm mad, when Afro-
funk classics like "Soul Makossa" & Fela Kuti are being put to Will
Smith, PuffDaddy. R&B Commercial shit. What's next "Expensive Shit"
ripped by the next Wil Smith tune, I certainly hope not. I know the rock
band Sugar Ray used a part of Hugh Masekela's "Grazing in the grass",
which is still hard to take. I will be proud to know that Masters at
Work, Idjut Boys, Fazed Action, Ron Trent, Soul Ascendents, etc. have
given a respectful tribute to the classic and influential forefathers of
Afro- funk!!! They aint fakin' an Afro-funk!

    Essential.
