The Solsonics were my first exposure to the acid jazz world. After that, Instinct was feeding my main vein with their "This is ..." series. From checking those compilations, I picked up some of my first full-lengths from the likes of JTQ, Disjam, Count Basic, Exodus Quartet, Soundscape, and Gota. Even got hooked up with the Ninja Tune camp thru Instinct. Then I discovered this list and it all just blew up from there.
What's up with Instinct these days? Web-site? I was on there mailing list for awhile, but the last thing I got from them was in '96.

I have been receiving mail since last week, but, I haven't heard a comment about Instinct record's groups...
I think this site it's too orientated to other records... thank's that, I know about your favorite groups and songs.....
But, don't you like any group, like jimpster, dj cam, sharpshooters, no se, cigar, exodus quartet, gota, count basic, dj kosma, camelle hinds, disjam, diferenz?.....
