    4 LIBERTY RECORDS INK INTERNATIONAL LABEL DEAL WITH TELSTAR

    After lengthy negotiations, pioneering UK garage label 4 Liberty Records
    have signed a long term international label deal with Telstar.

    4 Liberty's artist roster includes the Dreem Teem, Colour Girl and new
    signings G:UK, and the label is widely credited with crossing UK Garage into
    the mainstream via chart hits that included The Dreem Teem's '97
    breakthrough 'The Theme' and it's follow up 'Buddy X 99'.

    Label founder and C.E.O Tony Portelli commented on the deal ;

    'Telstar are our perfect partners due to their independence, and director
    Pete Hadfield has been a long time supporter. This is the right deal at the
    right time, and allows us to market our artists globally. Prior to this
    partnership, lack of marketing spend was our biggest drawback to competing
    on a level playing field, obviously that's no longer a problem. I'm
    delighted to be working with a partner who understands our need for
    independence, but shares our passion for music.'

    The first fruits of this new business partnership come in the shape of 4
    Liberty's garage singer/songwriter Colour Girl's forthcoming single
    'Joyrider' (You're Playing With Fire), released on July 24th, and her debut
    artist album 'Special' released August 7th.
