some very kind person re-issued this Azymuth gem: Live at the copacabana Palace. I have been looking for this on vinly for quite a while. The bass on this 'album' is enormous...it has: Partido Alto (good!), a long and short version of Jazz Carnival and other good tracks, it's on Iris Musique (http://www.mservices.com/iris)
another disc in the player: Blue Mambo - Various Artist (Blue Note)
no mambo #5, but mambo #2 is definitely there. Blue note delivers some very good swinging mambo tunes. has anyone heard other stuff from Tito Puente Jr.? He has a house/mambo tune on this album and a duet with Tito sr.
