    heya list,

I'd totally have to second this (e)motion... Kruder's Peace Orchestra album
is fantastic; a little darker in places than most K&D, pushing deeper in
some ways, with much of the dubby/Latin flavoured feel of K&D
collaborations in other places. A must have for fans.

As for the new Tosca album, Suzuki, it's also stunning, though with the
lighter, happier, sunshiney vibe movin' on through it. Almost all
instrumental stuff with bits of sampled vocals ('Honey' is great that way
and much fun).... almost every single track is great. Personally, I liked
the first Tosca album (Opera), but I *love* this one. The full album is out
in Canada (via Distribution Fusion) any day now.... as soon as the
CD's/vinyl make it here from Europe. I imagine the timing is much the same
in the U.S. Michael Yim at K7 should be able to fill us in on that......

BTW, for those in Toronto, we're hosting a listening party for Tosca's
'Suzuki' at my longrunning (3 years +) 'Glide' Wednesdays at Gypsy Co-op,
this coming Wed. 15th. We'll be playing the album in full from 9:30-10:30
or so, then I'll be playing alongside my new co-resident Andrew Allsgood,
and guest Sassa'le for a pure eve of down (and mid) tempo delights. It's
free, so check us if you can.

Ciao for now all. I've totally been enjoying the thread of what everyone is
listening to of late....gotta make time to send the same...love this list
and all the passion 'n knowledge on it.
