Someone should mention Courtney Pine in this context-- forget if it's
on _Underground_ or _Modern Jazz Stories_, but "Book of the Dead" is
a real corker. No jungle beats, but trip-hoppy a la the Nils
    Molvaer--

I've heard great things about Lob as a "live d&b" band, but can't
vouch for it as I haven't been able to track down their releases.

Live Human & DJ Logic are both pretty incredible mixes of beatz &
live groovejazz. And, though they don't use beatz, Critters Buggin'
plays some pretty impressive "live trip-hop" when the spirit takes
'em (I really like all their records but _Bumpa_, which is a little
    too spazzy/genrehoppin' for me...)
