Funkngruven
Rainer Truby is a international DJ and producer well known all over the
globe for his retro and future jazz, brazil, house, boogie-tunes and
drum & bass sound. He has influenced everyone from Kruder & Dorfmeister,
Tosca, Masters At Work, Jazzanova to Gilles Peterson. In 1998, Gilles
Peterson chose him as his favourite DJ in his Top 3 DJ-Chart in
DJ-Magazine! He has done remixes for the likes of Peter Kruder (Kruder &
Dorfmeister), Tosca (G-Stone) , Frederic Galliano (F-Communications),
Bobby Matos (Ubiquity) Nitin Sawhney (Outcaste), among many others. His
compilations include Glucklich Volumes 1-3, Gilles Peterson's Talkin'
Jazz 3, and Root Down 99 (Nuphonic Records). This is a show not to be
missed!
