I also agree with you. While Tosca's work is more on the easy-listening side
(which I tend to dislike because of the lack of "soul" or "feelings" or
whatever you want to call it), Peace Orchestra's debut album is full of
deep, soulful, stunning tunes.
BTW, Richard Dorfmeister will be DJing this thursday and saturday in Lux, a
Lisbon club here in Portugal. On friday it will be Minus 8's turn and on the
same day but 300km away, in Oporto, Nicola Conte from Schema Records will be
in Trintaeum. Amalgamation of Soundz, Les Gammas, and lots more will pe
performing throughout the country in the same day in a national party
sponsored by a new cell phone company -YORN. I wish I could be in 20 places
at the same time :P
