Hey fellas,
I was in Paris last weekend attending a record
convention and got invited to a Party at la fabrique
in the bastille area of things. It was a bday party
for Jimi (to his friends) Perri (Old school chicago Dj
based in Paris). He is an amazing guy in that old
school warm and bubblin' kinda fashion and was fun to
talk to. He didnt dj but sang over 2 djs and 3
turntables, with the guys doing tricks and jamming
hard... He blew the roof off man. maaaad impro's on
banging beats!
He had this deep soul house track out a couple of
months ago called The Power (nice atjazz mix slightly
shiki-shiki). He also puts stuff out as Jimi Polo.
ANybody know anything else about this guy???
