The vibe on Wed at Buddha is COMPLETELY different from the vibe on the
weekends. Much more mellow, no strict dress code, cheaper cover, MUCH better
music, etc. Also FYI Groove Dis VIP's get in free on Wed (just show your
card). Our very own Joe Phillips (aka Joe Schmoe) was spinning there last
night and tore shit up. We were supposed to have the record release party
for our new CD Sampler (with tracks from Xploding Plastix, Sonar Lodge,
Landslide, Danny Byrd, and lots more) as well but a delay at the plant meant
we didn't get them in time...:(. Aaron was dancing up a storm though
(including a little Brazilian style Capoeira dancing).

The Funky Buddha on Wed is definitely a place to drop by when it town (and
of course you can always shop at Groove Dis on Wed's before you go over :).

Aaron, where were you when I was trying to find some parties in Chicago a
while back?! I ended up asking around Dustygroove and Grammaphone and a few
other places and decided to check out the Funky Buddha Lounge and had a
great time.. Only prob was that it was like $20 and we got there at 12 and
it closed shop at 1:30! It was strange to see them clearing out a full
house, since normally at the parties I go to around here, they don't end
until everyone's gone home anyways (usually about 4am or so). Nice place
though. Maybe next time I'm in Chicago I'll have to drop by one of these
    Wednesday night sessions.

    Adam
