... does anybody know much about aqua bassino? I've recently picked up a
few of his remixes -- the nahawa doumbia mix on the frikyiwa label, and
some old remixes he did for frederic galliano -- and I've been enjoying his
work a lot. Does he have a full length, or any 12"s which are worth
tracking down? etc etc

* newly acquired stuff that I'm currently feeling: lonnie liston smith and
the cosmic echoes -- cosmic funk (lush!)
* newly acquired stuff that I thought I would be feeling more than I am:
mustang -- give a little love 12" (what's the big deal?! sheesh, it's
nice, but it aint all that....)
* stuff about to arrive that I am salivating about: theo parrish --
parallel dimensions (in the post, wahoo!! theo is the man....)
* rumour that has me quivering with excitement: d'angelo tells rolling
stone he intends to have a live album out by xmas. (um .... yay!)
