is it an age thing?

    I was just browsing through the article on Dego and IG Culture that appeared in XLR8R (http://www.xlr8r.com/ - issue 48) and I stumbled on the following remark.

    Dego: All of us have a common goal, which is to get varied styles of music out there. The funny thing I've noticed is that there's not many young people making these tunes. It's all older people with a couple of young guys under their wing.

    I was just wondering what the average age of west london/broken beat fans are. I agree with Dego that most of the producers in the scene are probably older guys but I don't think the same could be said of your average fan. I don't think you have to be older to appreciate these sounds. I am only 20 and I'm loving it!

    Are there any other younger fans out there? What do all the older peeps think about the above remark??
