thanks for your amazing review & respect for taking the time to give
    the list an accurate impression.
    i've now done it vicariously...
btw: went to gilles p.'s first night of worldwide @ london's cargo
last nite to watch ski oakenfull (with a couple of special guests,
one was earl zinger aka galliano). it was pure late 80's house done
live. the bass player was pretty amazing... i was quite surprised
and pleasantly pleased by the new fusion of house & jazz & it made
me realise that most of the crowd never experienced the jazz vs. fusion
scenario of the late 70's or some of the late 80's house tunes
    oakenfull manages to reproduce live...
one journo bod i was with was totally surprised at hearing classic
house reproduced live... (there were some samples in that keyboard
    i'm sure)...

the vibe was wicked, although being an old 'talkin loud' dingwalls
sunday session regular from 10 yrs ago, the jazz dancers to gilles
earlier set were definitely missing (imho) and there was barely enough
room to shake yer funky thing in the main room...
all good tho & worth listening for the live sessions on worldwide.

big up to gilles 4 handing me his water on arrival
    (^:^)
