After sending a lengthy update a coupla weeks back, I'm gonna stick to
some basics this time around. Ahhhh yes, summer time and a little too
much work are taking their toll :-)
So here's the scoop on a few of my upcoming gigs and guest appearances
(complete with giveaways for tomorrow night at FTWK). I'll hit'cha
again next week with full updates where Mental Chatter radio programming
and all the writing stuff is concerned.

That's right, I'll actually be stepping away from the Gypsy decks for a
wee bit, sliding on over to weekly danceclub institution For Those Who
Know (FTWK) at Tonic Nightclub. From 10pm to 12:30am, I'll be mixing up
some sweet, soulful deep house and garage then sliding into some more
percussive and funky elements as the night grows later. Yum, and on a
Wednesday too! The one 'n only Matt C. of Industry, Bamboom etc. fame
takes over the decks after, sure to keep the floor pumping while I head
back to Gypsy and Glide into a jazzy, dubby 'n more chilled set. I'd
love to invite you to join all of us for my Tonic debut and for what is
certain to be a sweaty, sexy late summer night. All those who e me back
before 7pm on Wed. Aug. 1 will be on a list for free admission before

- SATURDAY AUGUST 4 and SUNDAY AUGUST 5: I'll be in Montreal,
participating once again in that city's incredible Pride experience,
Divers/Cité! Saturday night is Lesbo/Monde, a wicked annual party for
women and friends. I played this one all night last year and had a
blast! This one should be even better, taking place in three rooms at
the Cabaret space on St. Laurent. I'll be spinning from midnight-2am,
then will do it up a little differently on Sunday, the main parade day,
when I spin from 4-6pm on the 'Les Girlz' outdoor stage. Check the

- SATURDAY AUGUST 11: Chicago's one 'n only sweet, soulful, funky house
genius MARK GRANT returns to Toronto, celebrating the release of his
brand new Sound Design Vol. 2 mix CD on Om Records. Joining Mark will be
Nick Holder, Ali Black, Richard Brooks, Joe Rizla + Trini and myself,
plus Live Grooves performing and visuals by both R Room and Taavo
Westerblom. Kool Haus, 1 Jarvis St. Tickets are $15 in advance,

- FRIDAY AUGUST 17: Garage 416 hosts the Toronto debut of very special
guest TIMMY REGISFORD of both Shelter Records and New York musical

their contemporary offspring. Joining Timmy will be the Blueprint crew,
