    Hi folks,

Here are some quick updates on shows this week in the Bay Area:

    1) Tonight (Wednesday Aug. 1) the Youngblood Brass Band and Ex-Centric Sound
System play Fuel in San Jose. That's at 44 So. Almaden Avenue, Doors at
8:30, 21 and over only. I'll be spinning from 8:30 until Ex-Centric Sound
System comes on around 9:30, then between bands as well. This is a wildly
eclectic double-bill that should be a lot of fun. For more information on
the bands you can check www.youngbloodbrassband.com and
www.ex-centric-sound.com. And for directions to Fuel you can go to
    www.fuel44.com.

BONUS! The first person to email me back will be added to my guest list for
    tonight's show. :-)

    2) There has been a change in line-up for tomorrow night's Joypad party at
the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Apparently Tom "Les Gammas" Weiland is
stuck in Atlanta and will not be able to make the gig. But the show will go
on, with a live performance from The Chopping Channel (3 members of
Negativland + Wobbly), plus DJs Nick Philip, Andrew Jervis, and Oliver Goss.
For more info go to http://www.blasthaus.com/joypad/.

    3) The man like Seiji strikes again! He'll be dropping down in San Jose
tomorrow night (Thursday August 2) for the Velvet Shop party at Waves
Smokehouse, 65 Post Street in San Jose. Also on the bill are Lego from
Chicago and local DJs Loren Torresola and M3. For more info go to
    www.velvetshop.com.

That is all. Now get out there and have some fun! :-)
