I have been a lurker on the acid jazz list for quite a few months. I enjoy
the debates, playlists and most everything else that comes its way.
I thought I would introduce myself and I hope some of the other lurkers and
even regulars will too. I am curious to see who else is out there.
So here goes:
Stephanie Pappas
live in Hoboken,NJ but work in Manhattan
DJ as a hobby, many of the artists mentioned on this list.
Faves sounds include what we would call nu jazz, deep house (more on the jazz
tip) and downbeat (i know these are generic terms).
Like to shop at Satellite Records in Manhattan.
Originally from Philadelphia, but moved here nearly 10 years ago now.
Interested in film, especially 60s French, 40s/50s Italian cinema oh and I
must admit the National Lampoon Vacation series.
Like to travel although I haven't been anywhere exotic really - just various
countries in Europe a few times. Will be traveling to various parts of Greece
and Barcelona in Sept. so if any acid jazz members live there and can offer
me advice, that would be great. I have been to Greece a few times already but
Barcelona will be new to me.
Feel free to share anything you want. The things I have chosen to describe
myself with are by no means a guideline. You will probably agree they are
boring.

PS. For the list master: From recent postings where members respond to others
