there's a magazine in the uk called Record Collector -
not sure if they have a website, but there are a whole bunch
of expert contributors. perhaps someone on the list has
a Record Collector sitting round with a number. They are
generally pretty helpful people and usually know someone
who knows someone who knows. on the other hand, i've been
fairly lucky just putting in the name of an artist, a track
and/or an lp title and getting some good info from
    http://www.google.com - its how i found http://www.descarga.com one of
the best sites i've seen on latin music. it kicks.
