over here, in Utrecht, where i live, there is a little crowd of about 5 DJ's
who play in EVERY club or at EVERY party..always the same 5 DJ's with the
same 5 record-boxes...i can't stand it, i am sending out mixtapes, mailing,
calling, trying to get somewhere, but one way or the other it's still the
same 5 DJ's who get the gigs.....these guys don't suck, but they're
record-selection isn't exactly interesting, and mixing and other skills are
around average....they always play in the same style (mainly breaks and d 'n
b) ....i desperately try to get a good (deep)house&garage venue of the
ground but it doesn't seem to work...clubowners don't want to take
risks.....
