    The "Last Look EP" is a great modern soul record produced by the Bugz in the
    Attic crew. Somewhat along the lines of Julie Dexter or Jill Scott, though
    personally I like it better than the other two. Four tracks, no
    remixes...just good honest songwriting. On Bitasweet.

    I should confess that watching Ken Burn's "Jazz" series is what prompted me
    to buy the Mingus album. Also picked up MOANIN' by Art Blakey and the Jazz
    Messengers, which is very fine too. So the series was good for something.
