Breakestra are kick ass! I think they're an LA based group
spearheaded by a kid named Miles. LA cats can probably
give more info. They're a live funk/hip hop band, as the
name implies - Nice basslines, great rhythm, and huge
in-your-face horns. I don't think they've got a full
length out, but they've got a few 45's on Stones Throw
records, and you can also find them on the Funky Precedent
Comp and Stop and Listen v5.
