I got the MG4 album (Japanese pressing), and I am totally feeling it. I had liked some of Shinichi Osawa's work with Monday Michiru and wanted to hear more. I don't know, someone had said that the "Star Suite" dragged on a bit (not exact words), but I love it, especially Part 3. What can Monday Michiru NOT do? The song has a nice gospel feel to it, courtesy of background vocalists Pauline McWilliams and Bennie Diggs (who also sing on "Butterfly") and... I don't know, I'm totally feeling it.
This is also the first time I heard a full Bird song. Is all her song similar in vein, as far as her voice is concerned? And that Amel Larrieux track, damn. Is the 12" for that out yet?
