Really, I buy ca. 2/3 of my albums online. Apart from the fact that online
record stores are categorized, too, I go to record stores for two reasons:

    1. To have that physical experience. Don't laugh, I really like to flip
through all the albums, look at the covers etc. Additionally, I find it
easier to "discover" new artists. Sometime I merely like the cover,
sometimes I once have heard of an album, but have forgotten its name, and it
comes back to my mind when finding it at the record store. I usually buy at
an online store when I know exactly what I want. I get my inspirations
elsewhere (e.g. from this list or magazines or friends)

    2. Some online stores charge quite high prices for packaging and shipping.
Amazon.de for eaxample does not charge anything when you buy for more than
DEM 89,- (what is always the case). But EPs or more sobsucre releases
    sometimes aren't avalaible at Amazon.de.

    Bye,

    Jürgen
