    weird as it may seem, but, yusef lateef actually was
    my neighbour in Zaria, Northern Nigeria for a bit in
    the early 80s. I played baseball with his kid and
    stuff. I met him years after when my drums teacher in
    Paris(Sangoma Everett) was rehearsing with him for a
    European gig. His presence is awesome, very deep and
    spiritual. Thanks for the list, I needed it!
