Gord also check out Dimitri's Deluxe House of Funk album released by UK
magazine Mixmag. The mixing is superb and although it was released back in
1997 I still slide it in the tray every month or so. Tunes to note here are
Bob Sinclar's "Visions of Paradise", come to think of it you should check
out Bob's very own unmixed original album "Paradise"...sheer magic.

Hey all. I'll just try and spark a discussion here. I have been blown away
by Dimitri's "Playboy Mansion", and his "Disco Forever" release on BBE.
What's really got me is the quality of his mixing. I haven't listened to a
ton of mixed albums, but I'm left wondering can this guy be that good live?
Or does he make it sound so good because he's in the studio and has all the
time he needs to match the track and drop it with perfection? And how does
he rank as a disco/house dj to those of you who have seen a lot of them? And
the other side of the coin, mixing aside, how does his choice of cuts stack
up against other djs in the genre? Is he "the man" as far as rare groove
disco is concerned? I'd love to hear from you disco headz
