Speaking of -Paris,Texas --- there is also an album by Ry Cooder and an
Indian percussionist who's name I cant remember at the moment called "Down
By The River" (??maybe). Sorry for being vague. I did actually own this cd
years ago and it is excellent. Anyone have a more info??

I know Cooder did help out on the OST to the movie -Crossroads-. Also a
recommendation if you like Cooder and the Indian percussionist you should
give Steve Roach and Robert Rich's collaborations a listen to. I highley
recommend Roach's -Dreamtime Return-. Keep the recommendations coming.
    Happy Trails!!!

    Steve Hillage "Rainbow Dome Musick"
(This is a 60 minutes of really, really blissful ambient music)

    Manuel Gottsching "E2=E4"
(This track is the musical basis for a house song called "Sueno Latino". It
has no beats, just a pulse really.
Mix it with Rainbow Dome Music and crazy things start to happen.)

Brian Eno "Ambient 4- On Land"
Brian Eno " Atmospheres - Soundtrack to the Apollo Missions"
(My two favorite Brian Eno selections.)

    The SoundTrack to Blade Runner,

Blade Runner the movie is excellent all three versions and the OST RULES!!!
and did I tell you it was a Great Movie?!!!

    and Paris, Texas

Hmm!!! Add to my shopping list.

    both function really well
    as ambient music.

Check out anything by Black Dog as well.
