First off, thanks for all the feedback regarding the ambient thread. A lot
of people mentioned the word journey in their posts, which got me thinking.
I've been listening to a lot of cds that just send me on a trip for 64 min.
(cd length) Here are some discs I feel are great for sending you off to a
    far off place:

    1. Dusted - Rolo from faithless
    2. Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
    3. Kid A - Radiohead
    4. Stoned Chilled Groove - Coldcut
    5. Deltron 3030 - Del tha funkee Homosapien, Kid Koala, Dan the Automator
    6. Dr. Doom - Kool Keith
    7. Love Mix - Tim Lee

Can't seem to think of any others right now. As I look through my
collection, I'll post some more. But one thing all these albums have in
common is that all the tracks flow into each other, which would be expected
only from the Love Mix and Stoned Chilled Groove (I think), as they are both
DJ sets. This brings me to my next question: DJing. I just picked up a
couple 1200's and have been spinning a lot lately. I have realized which
tracks I own that flow really well together. My question is: Do DJ's who
perform already have a routine they're going to perform, or is it that they
are really skilled and can mix anything superbly (from hip hop to ambient
etc..). Or is it that only DJ masters can handle such a feat? Anyone have
any tips for beginners? I'd love to hear your opinions on both the journey
    cd's and mixing techniques. Thanks.

    -Jeremy
