Being an avid listener for about five years now, I have come across a few people in the Philly area who are knowledgeable in good music. Although it is nice to be exlusive to a certain interest, it becomes annoying when one does not have the ability to share these great experiences. As well, being the grand ripe age of 20 in today's MTV world has shrouded me in a fake environment which is so depressing and aggrevating its unreal. As well, there are no f*cking girls, at least my age, who know whats up. Whats the deal? I'm curious how others actually became acquainted with this music. I'm a huge fan of music(classic rock, classic alternative, trip hop, intelligent drum n' bass, some trance and house, funk, jazz, classical, latin, and underground hiphop) located in the Philly area, and planning to attend syracuse university. Maybe I'll find some heads there! Just had to vent, thanks. Any comments are welcome. Happy listening and go sixers!
