hey AJ folks,
Somebody recently posted on here about Gabriel (Gabe) Rene who records
as Aquanote with Naked Music and is one of the four members in San
Fran's Soulstice. I think there was a question about whether Gina Rene,
singer in Soulstice, is Gabe's sister (she is) and whether Andy Caldwell
of Soulstice also mixed the 'Sounds of OM' comp (he is).
Anyway, since there was interest here and since Soulstice, Mark Farina,
and Afro-Mystik are all touring North America as part of the 'Sounds of
OM Tour' (hits Toronto this Saturday at System Soundbar), I thought I'd
post a link to an article I've just done on Soulstice/OM. This is from
'Extended Play,' one of two columns I write here in T.O. for Eye weekly.
