    Hey All,

I have been on the decks for the last 10 or so years and the urge is now
upon me to create something of my own. I am looking for some *basic*
software that will allow me to create my own deep house/drum 'n bass tunes.
At this stage I am not willing to throw much money at it, as I would prefer
to see just how I get along and take it from there. So something that is
either shareware or freeware would do for now. I have mucked about on
    Rebirth RB-338 2.0, however I find that I can't quite get the b-lines as
deep and funky as I would like. Too much 303 craziness on offer there!
Also I would prefer it if the programme is downloadable as opposed to bought
    over the counter.

I am completely new to this, so any tips/suggestions would be greatly
    appreciated.

    I have a Dell Optiplex GX110 PIII 667mhz PC with a 10GB hardrive and 128KB
    RAM.

    Thanks,
    Simon
