    OBSERVATIONS & RESEARCH
    -------------------------------------------
    Interfearence-Take That Train--Ubiquity
A brilliant fusion of moody cinematics with the uplifting cosmic
sounds of 70's jazz and post millenial disco-techno-funk. It could
be the sonic density of this LP that sets it apart, cramming more
musical information into one bar than most dancefloor tracks can
render in 7:00 minutes. Make no mistake though, this is not a
chill-out record. Interfearence creates hypnotic patterns from
organic samples: languid guitars, frantic percussion and disembodied
african voices restructured into a collage of dancefloor mayhem.
"Take that train" owes as much to Morricone, dub and afrobeat as to
the ethereal house of Paper records and DJ Krush's stark hip hop
instrumentals; but there always seems to be a driving techno
aesthetic that pushes it into uncharted territory. Its the kind of
record you listen to over and over again, seeing what you discover
from each new turn. Its also the kind of record that will shake the
    dancefloor down to its foundations.
