    Velanche,

There's a compilation on Guidance Recordings entitled "Voices of Urban Renewal",
where I first heard Ursula Rucker's "Circe". Surprisingly, Mos Def is one of
the artists there, along with Oliver Grimball and Ras Baraka. Check out
    http://www.33rpm.com/release_detail.lasso?R=63. Samples available.

The Love Jones Soundtrack has some poetry readings, too.

    Live well,
    /Mike
