music this fortnight but once again here is my top ten selection for your
perusal.

The man needs no explanation. Quality.
2. The Beard - Someday (Phuturistix mix) - Inspirit Music
Smooth rhodes, scat vocals - deep, soulful 2-step with plays from Patrick
Forge and a 5/5 in Mixmag. Check for white labels flying around the London
shops.
3. Naked Music NYC - Reconstructed Soul (1 of 3) - Om Records
Check for King Kooba's Conscious Groove mix of "It's Love". Bouncy, lush,
deep house grooves.
4. Soul Sista - Only You - Inspirit Music
Deep and progressive house mixes. Sweet vocal. Look forward to remixes from
Switzerland's Sequel of Straight Ahead and Zest fame.
5. 4 Hero - Creating Patterns LP Sampler - Talkin Loud
At last - managed to get a copy of this in the box. Jill Scott summing up
exactly how I felt this morning!
6. Blue Effect - Aquathought - Functional Breaks
Dubby late night 2-step from south-west (UK) breaks label.
7. Ugly Duckling - Samba
Excellent remix from People Under The Stairs. A great tune from an even
greater album.
8. Roots Manuva - Dreamy Days - Big Dada
Second single off the album and when Mr. Manuva meets MJ Cole, the result is
explosive!
9. High Contrast - Make It Tonight / Mermaid Scar - Hospital Records
Rolling d'n'b straight outta Cardiff. Check High Contrast at the Hospital
Night @ Herbal, London on the 19th October along with London Elektricity,
Landslide, Alan Brown and Swell Session.
10. Andy Caldwell - All I Need - Naked Music
Latest offering from the Naked Music camp.
