Go down "The Shaw" (Crenshaw Ave.) past all the big stores and the Baldwin
Hills mall and on your left is a triangular park called Liemert Park. It's
surrounded by two small streets: 43rd St and Degnan. 5th Street Dicks is on
Degnan.
Though I haven't been there in a while, I heard it closed down since the
owner died...but the new owner plans to re-open it soon, or has it happened
already?
There's another great venue on that same block called the World Stage, lots
of intense jazz sessions go off down there.
