Well, I just got back from a great gig in L.A. @ PULL. It was on Sunday,
and I flew back Monday. But I brought back alot of records:

2000 Black: The Good Good (Planet E) (i know it's kinda old now, but
    it's still blinding.)

Nepa Allstars/Red Clay- You're the one/ The Way (Surplus) Attica Blues'
is up to some serious broken-step bizness :)

Nubian Mindz- Black Science (Restless Soul mix) (Archive) Anorther old
    one, that rocks!!!!

Son of Scientist- Theory of Everything 12" (Main Squeeze) "Ion Steel" is
    a great tune!

Maxwell- Lifetime 12" (Ben Watt's Lazy Dog mix) (Columbia) Absolutely a
massive soulful house tune to come.

Amel Larriuex- Get up (Ron Trent mix) (Giant Step/?) Damn, this came out
in '00, and I'm finally finding a copy now. It's a jazzy floorfiller
with the beautiful vocals Amel can only deliver!

Two Banks of 4- Hook and a Line (Zed Bias mix) (Sirkus) Moody lil'
2-stepper that will pleas both broken beat & garage headz alike. Cool!

Shaun Escoffery- Space Rider (MJ Cole mix) 12", a big tune last year.
But for anyone who missed it, this is soulful 2-step at it's best!!!!!

Chateau Flight- Prism (Sun Orchestra mix) E.P. (Versatile) I also dig
the 4 Hero mix of "Auto Power", for some mid-tempo broken beat biz.

I bought these b4 the trip:
    * Kaidi Tatham- Betcha' did (Bitasweet) Awesome jazziness with vocals
like DeeDee Bridgewater & Minnie Ripperton teaming up, and music by Roy
    Ayers circa Mystic Voyage.

    * Afronaught- Shapin' Fluid (Apollo) A 21st century jazz/funk-phusion
masterpiece. For real. Dexter Wansel meets Johnny Hammond and Lonnie
    Liston Smith.

    * Modaji- One and the same 12" (Laws of Motion) I know this is hella
old, but I'm glad I'm finally feeling this soulful broken beat/ housey
sound Modaji is capable of. Brilliant!!!!

    * E:Trinity- Shades of blue (Pacific Multimedia)
This was given to me by the man known as Elson Trinidad, a super cool
cat & a promising upcoming producer of 2-step & broken beat.
This cd has it all downtempo, drum & bass, 2-step, and broken beat. Very
    cool!!!!!

I hope you all have the privallege to find these records. They're ALL
    winners!!!!!!

    Easy,
