Urban Landscapes is in full three-hour mode tonight and every Friday
evenings from 8-11pm PST on KCPR 91.3 FM, as well as through our live
    Internet stream at http://www.kcpr.org/.

Springtime is here stateside. With that, a new quarter of Urban
Landscapes is moving forward. So much new stuff has been piling up over
the last few weeks, and finally the chance has come to share it with all
    of you.

Don't forget that if you miss the show live, you can hear the show
anytime via the Urban Landscapes site at
http://www.urbanlandscapesshow.com. When all is said and done, the last
ten shows will always be posted for your listening pleasure anytime,
    anyday.

I've said that 2002 was going to be a good music year, and I'm not at
all disappointed. While we wait for the full-lengths from Jazzanova and
Kaidi, some other goodies have fallen nicely into place.

Great new albums from Organic Grooves, Tosca, Rae And Christian, the
Phuturesole compilation, and Ubquity's No Categories 5 compilation have
been rounding out last week's show. Also some killer vinyl biz from
Focus (aka Phil Asher), Willie Bobo remixed by Mr. Dorfmeister,
Microfish remixed by Stereotyp, some Fluid Ounce vinyls, and a new Scuba
12" featuring Alma Horton were given spins. You can hear most of it from
last week's show, which is now online.

What's up for tonight's show? Some great twelves including Pepe Braddock
remixing Block 16, Domu's "Save It" (and maybe Domu remixing another
tune), a couple of remixes by Tiefschwarz, the Havana Boys getting
remixed, some good stuff from Fluid Ounce, and so much more before it
    all ends.

No reviews again this week. I'm slacking on that front, but I've been
ill for the better part of over a week. I'm sure to give you the goods
when I'm fully up to speed again.

    Have a good weekend!
