Real.com has a free encoder, RealProducer Basic. Its not easy to find
in their site, they try to send you to the Plus version, but its
around. Soundforge and alot of other audio editing software will save
files in real format too. I dont know if this goes for live and well as
archived, but you dont need any special software for people to be able
to stream the file, RealServer works better, but Ive found http to works
fine too. Its the hosting and bandwidth that might cost ya
lemme know if you got questions Walker

    Some other sites for Sounds
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/urban/peterson.shtml
    http://onthecorner.fm/
    http://www.beleza-music.org/vivid/
    http://www.k7.com/features/k7radio.html
for mp3 streams I like the Bedroom Beats on Live 365

    and now for the promo:
theres a bunch of good music on Tantrum Radio as well
         http://www.tempersTantrum.com
for this list I'd recommend sets from the archives by
-- Wayne for some good old fashion acid-jazz, downtempo, trip hop and
    some drum and bass too
    he's also got a station on Live 365 @
    http://www.live365.com/stations/243461
or email me and I'll dump you more mp3 sets then you know what to do
    with
-- Dr Um for an excellent selection of almost everything this list
loves. click on his name, get playlists
-- medea's got a few of the choice sessions from Soundtravels captured
from wprk 91.5fm. its a worldly blend of aj, broken beat, downtempo
-- Afrikan Sciences is the new guy in the guest box, check out the
full-on broken beat NuJazz Swing and his original tracks in the mp3
    section
-- some by me too, from my radio show

and when your done with that, Ive got more
